Cape Cod National Seashore History

In 1961, President John F. Kennedy established the Cape Cod National Seashore. The 44,000 acres encompass pine, marshland, hardwood forest, and salt ponds. The Cape Cod Seashore stretches forty miles and is full of lighthouses, landscapes, cranberry bogs, and 570 different species.
